General: A strong breaststroker and two-year letter winner who is a big contributor for Carolina, especially in the breaststroke and relay efforts...will be the top-ranked breaststroker on the Tar Heel depth chart heading into the 2007-08 campaign.
2006-07: Had a very succesful ACC Championship meet, placing fifth in the 100-yard breaststroke with a career best 55.43...the time gave him the No. 7 spot on the Tar Heel All-Time Top 10 list...also achieved a career best time in the preliminaries of the 200 IM, finishing 14th in finals...took 20th in the 200-yard breast and swam breaststroke in the fifth-place 200-yard medley relay...swam the fastest 100 breast time for the team last season...his 100 breaststroke time from ACC Championships was good enough for the sixth-best time in the ACC for the 2006-07 season.
2005-06: Set career bests in the 100-yard breaststroke and 200-yard individual medley at the ACC Championships with a 55.58 and 1:52.66 respectively...was atop the Carolina depth chart for the 100-yard breaststroke for 2005-06...placed ninth in the 100 breast at ACC's in 55.58...swam the breast leg on the 400 medley relay and had a 54.82 split...was 12th in the 200 breast.
Prep: Graduated from Somers High School on June 24, 2005...a junior national champion in the 200-yard breaststroke...metro record holder for both the 100 and 200 breaststrokes...a senior national qualifier in both breaststroke events...team captain of his club team both his junior and senior years.
