Tendonitis in his knees limited him to action in just three games • Played in January games against Virginia and Clemson and the Feb. 7 game at Wake Forest • Had two rebounds in the win over the Cavaliers.

FRESHMAN SEASON (2002-03)
Played in 19 games, including nine ACC contests • Scored 30 points, grabbed 28 rebounds and blocked 15 shots • Was limited by nagging pain in his knees • Scored a season-high seven points and had six rebounds and blocked two shots against North Carolina A&T • Had five points and five rebounds at Maryland • Blocked three shots against Vermont and at Virginia • Was 11 for 28 from the floor (.393) • Sixteen of his 28 rebounds came on the offensive glass.
