Joined the team as a walk-on in 2005 • Management major • Attended high school in Texas (The Woodlands) as a freshman, Florida as a sophomore and junior (Plant) and North Carolina (Green Hope) as a senior • Started at strong safety his senior season at Green Hope and earned all-conference honors and was academic all-conference • Also played linebacker, tight end and wide receiver • Started at safety at Plant High School as a sophomore and junior where he was named the team's most improved player • Named student-athlete of the week by The Raleigh News & Observer as a senior • Coached by Tim Pauluzzi at Green Hope, Darlee Nelson at Plant and Weldon Willing at The Woodlands • Also earned three letters in track and field • Was ranked among the top 110 meter hurdlers in North Carolina • Holds the Green Hope record in the 4x100 meter relay, shuttle hurdle relay, pole vault relay and triple jump relay • Born Zach Robert Adrian on May 20, 1987, in The Woodlands, Texas. |
