David Thornton Signs Contract With Colts

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Linebacker David Thornton, a fourth-round draft choice from the University of North Carolina, signed with the Indianapolis Colts on Wednesday.

Terms were not disclosed.

Thornton joins defensive tackle David Pugh and running back Brian Allen as other Colts' picks who have signed.

Thornton walked on at North Carolina, and had 155 tackles and three sacks in 11 starts last year.
