2006: As a junior, appeared in 40 games, starting 28 at catcher • Finished the season with nine hits, including two against Elon on March 5 and Gardner-Webb on April 20 • Did not commit an error in 290 chances behind the plate for a school-record tying fielding percentage of 1.000.

2005: As a sophomore, appeared in 42 games and started 28 at catcher and in the outfield • Finished the season with seven hits, including two against Radford on Feb. 12 • Hit her second career home run against UNCG on April 14 • Committed just three errors in 190 chances for a .984 fielding percentage.

2004: As a freshman, appeared in 54 games and started 40 at catcher • First career home run was a solo shot against Troy State on March 20 • Had two-hit games against Evansville (March 8), Maryland (March 14), Florida State (April 24) and Texas-San Antonio (May 20).

At Central Cabarrus High School in Concord, N.C.: Played on state championship teams in 2000 and 2001 and on state runner-up teams in 2002 and 2003 • All-state, All-Piedmont and All-Observer in her junior and senior seasons • Served as team captain as a senior, when she led the team in doubles, home runs and RBIs • Captained the basketball team in her junior and senior years and earned team MVP honors in her sophomore and senior years • Led her team in assists and free throw percentage • Voted Most Athletic in her senior class.
