TULSA, Okla. --- North Carolina's Sanaz Marand and Katrina Tsang will begin play in the NCAA Singles Championship Wednesday at the University of Tulsa's Michael D. Case Tennis Center. Marand will also be joined by Sophie Grabinski in Thursday's doubles event.

Marand, seeded No. 9-16 in the singles tournament, will open with Tennessee's Caitlin Whoriskey. Whoriskey is currently ranked No. 41 in the nation. No. 28 Tsang will face Cal's Cristina Visico in the first round. In the doubles event, Grabinksi and Marand will meet second-seeded Melanie Gloria and Tinesta Rowe of Fresno State in the first match.
